James Hodkinson
Managing Director – Professional Services

James manages the SmithCorp business day to day, alongside general strategy. He has overall responsibility for our professional services (legal, compliance, finance, IT, human resources, training & development). James is focused on promoting an open culture of success and further strengthening the vibrant, progressive working environment across the group. When not working, James enjoys good food, wine and travelling to warmer countries with his family.
James Blackiston
Group IT Director

James is responsible for overseeing the delivery of IT projects and for the IT governance and strategy of the group. He has led the development of the groups IT architecture and business systems. James also played an instrumental role in setting up the SmithCorp Charitable Trust, as supporting education opportunities in underprivileged communities is an issue close to his heart . Away from his keyboard, James is a keen surfer and can often be found at the beach when his work schedule and family life allows.
Andy Dodge
Director - Legal, Compliance and HR

Andy is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day compliance of the groups operations and is directly involved in any policy changes or updates, keeping on top of changes in legislation, acts as an advisor to the board and is Company Secretary for the group. Andy is the Chairman of the SmithCorp Charitable Trust and is deeply involved in the charity’s organisation and achievements to date.
Andy loves spending time with his family and when he’s not out and about with his wife and two young sons, you can often find him troubling the Somerset hedgerows while working on his golf swing.
Nick Craze
Managing Director; Edgware Associates, IronBridge Partners.

Nick leads two of the brands in the SmithCorp group; Edgware Associates and IronBridge Partners, having joined the business in 2009 as a graduate trainee. His progression is a great example of our approach to nurturing home-grown talent. As a result, Nick is passionate about developing the next generation of leaders to help them reach their own potential and ambitions.
In his downtime, Nick will usually be found exploring the countryside with his golden retriever, Gerald, and is a long-suffering Tottenham Hotspur fan.
Steph Millard
Associate Director - Finance

Steph leads the Finance dept, providing fiscal guidance across the group. She is responsible for managing the financial health of the group and ensures its financial legislative compliance as well as reporting financial performance to the board.
If you can tear her away from her calculator and life- long dreams of owning a German Vizsla, you’ll usually find Steph down at the beach or enjoying good food and cider with her family and friends.
Dan Green, Group Commercial Director

Dan has worn many hats during his 10-year journey with SmithCorp, starting out as a Client Relationship Manager. Through consistent growth and a passion for people, he’s become a key figure in the business—now leading Training & Development, Mental Health & Wellbeing, our charity work, and managing relationships with external commercial clients at group level including our ELEVATE programme.
Outside of work, Dan’s just as hands-on. He’s a keen cook, a DIY enthusiast, a proud dad, and a guitarist—apparently in that order!
Ben Maxfield

Ben joined SmithCorp as a Client Relationship Manager in 2012, and has quickly advanced through the business, to Managing Director, responsible for four distinct brands across London, Bristol and Cornwall. He brings a people-focused approach to leadership and a commitment to organic growth.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find Ben in flip-flops, holidaying, dining out and exploring the countryside with his family and two dogs.
